Artwork Statement
My aim is to disrupt the ordinary. Each shard disrupts perfection – rebuilding from the chaos of the broken crockery into something new and beautiful. My mosaic challenges order, inviting you to see beauty in the power of the imperfect pieces now reimagined.
About the artist
Coralie Milne is a mosaic artist who creates eclectic and eye-catching handmade mosaics from vintage media. Milne’s work has been described as whimsical and is inspired by the colours and patterns of the broken shard as well as the beauty of nature, particularly flowers.
