Artwork Statement
Acceptance and love of our shadow self. Grounding ourselves in the earth, disrupting and letting go of all limitations, powerlessness and self-sabotage. Spirit rising above, releasing and unchaining our deepest fears and losses; reclaiming power over one’s thoughts.
About the artist
Sharron Colley’s work deals with themes within natural and built environments, human experience, emotion, psyche, culture and identity. Heavily influenced by the time spent in the garden and the hours she spends with her hands in the soil, her process is intuitive. Colley addresses ideas inherent within the elements, such as earth, air, fire and water.
