Rising from the ashes is a difficult process that every person faces.
I have learnt that it takes more than wings to fly, it takes the strength and determination to break the shackles binding you to the cinders of your past. Only then will you find yourself looking to the sky, not with envy, but anticipation.
About the artist
Streten is a self-taught, 20-year-old artist who grew up in and continues to live in the Western Downs. She is a multi-disciplined artist with an interest in traditional and digital mediums. Much of Streten’s work centres around baroque styled portraiture.
